Volunteer
We could not run our programs successfully without the support of our volunteers!
These dedicated individuals assist the teachers to create a safe, inclusive and friendly environment for all our dancers.
Everyone’s time commitments vary from week to week, term to term and year to year. Don’t worry! We are grateful for any kind of help you can offer and here are a couple of different options to consider:
Weekly Class Helpers
Assist with the beginning, standing portion and ending of class.
Assist dance participants getting ready
Assist dance participants with an exercise or leaving class
Holiday Helpers
Helps during term breaks when there is often only one teacher in a class
Same duties as Weekly Class Helpers
Special Events Helper
Volunteer for a special project that is outside of the normal class time and often at a different location
Same duties as Weekly Class Helpers
All our volunteers are also encouraged to join us before or after class for a cuppa.
It’s the best time to chat and get to know everyone!
